Peter S. Walis, 81, of Fair Lawn passed away on December 3, 2024. Born and raised in Garfield, he has been a resident of Fair Lawn since 1984. Peter worked as a plant manager for Bindi, Nutley, for many years before retiring. He loved going to Atlantic City, bowling and sporting events.

Beloved husband of Dolores (Wdowiak) Walis. Devoted father of Brian Walis and his wife Jacqueline. Loving grandfather of Brian Peter Walis and his wife Tracy and Brendan Walis and his wife Camille. Cherished great-grandfather of Avery and Ellie. Dear brother of Gerald Walis and his wife Christina and brother-in-law of the late Frank Wdowiak. Peter is also predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Angela (Durkalec) Walis.

Visiting Friday 4 – 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the funeral home and 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Anne, Fair Lawn. Cremation will be private.
