Peter Messina's Obituary
Peter Messina, 86, of Passaic, passed away on January 9, 2019. Born in New York City, he was a resident of Passaic for many years.
A parishioner of St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton, Peter was a US Navy Veteran during the Korean War. A General Contractor for 50 years, Peter was the owner of Peter Messina & Sons and served as a Building Inspector for the City of Passaic for many years.
Beloved husband for 59 years of Sophie (Kits). Devoted father of Michael, Dr. Matthew, Dr. Marcy Jean, and Marc Peter Messina. Loving grandfather of Maggie Rose and Peter John Messina. Predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Funeral Saturday 7:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
