Peter C. Kohler, 87, of Clifton on July 10, 2009. Born in Passaic, Peter lived most of his life in Clifton and was a parishioner of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton. An Army Air Force Veteran of WW II, Peter was a Foreman/Supervisor for Westin Biscuit Co.-Interbake Foods in Clifton for 36 years and later worked for the Clifton Board of Education for 18 years, before retiring. Beloved husband for 56 years of Mary (Fedorchak). Devoted father of Dr. Peter and his wife Mera of Traverse City, MI, and Kevin of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Hallie and Tess. Dear brother of the late Dorothy Kohler. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM with Panikhida at 8 PM.
