Peter Holick, 85, of Clifton on June 3, 2009. Born in Crucible, PA, Peter was a resident of Clifton since 1944. A Coast Guard Veteran during WW II, he served in the North Atlantic on Submarine Patrol aboard the Patrol Frigate 32 as a Sonar Man. A parishioner of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton, Peter was a Machine Operator for Athenia Steel in Clifton for 40 years, retiring in 1980. Beloved husband for 65 years of Ann (Kopetz). Dear brother of the late John, Walter and Paul Holick, and Helen Berry. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, 35 Orange Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM with Panikhida at 8 PM.
