Peter Caminiti, 73, of Garfield passed away on September 9, 2024. Born in Passaic, he was a resident of Garfield most of his life. A Proud US Navy Veteran, Peter worked as a commercial & school bus driver for over 45 years, retiring as Bus Driver for First Student Transportation, Co., Paterson.

Beloved husband of the late Gail (Lombardo) Caminiti. Devoted father of Peter Caminiti and his wife Tara, Heather Rossi and Autumn Kirbyson. Loving grandfather of Justin, Ashley, Isabella, Annabelle and Ant. Dear brother of Alice Kardooni and John Caminiti.

Visiting Monday 4 – 6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A Presentation of Military Honors will be held at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be private.

A Burial of Ashes will be held at a later date at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
