Pearl Theresa Gergats, 87, of Passaic passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at home with her family by her side. Born in Peckville, PA, she settled in Passaic in 1959. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Pearl worked as a seamstress for Gramercy Mills, Passaic.

Beloved wife for 59 years of Michael J. Gergats, Sr. Devoted mother of Judith Gergats of Passaic, Michael Gergats, Jr. and his wife Judy of Clifton and Richard Gergats and his wife Krystyna, also of Clifton. Cherished grandmother of Rachel and Natalia. Loving sister in law of Mary Rovinski of Peckville, PA. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Pearl will be greatly missed by her loving home care aide Veronica and also Anna, and the Staff from the Hospice of NJ. She is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Josephine (Chmilewski) Rovinski, sister, Helen Lepkowski, and brother, John Rovinski.

Funeral Monday 10 AM at Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 2-5 PM at the funeral home.
