Pauline (Kwolek) Trella, 88, of Clifton, passed away on January 7, 2012. Born in Wallington, she was a resident of Clifton most of her life. A Navy Veteran of WW II, Pauline served in the WAVES and was stationed at the US Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, TX. A member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton, Pauline served as Finance Officer for many years, as well as President of the Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of American Legion Post #347, Clifton. Pauline worked with her son both at Kracker's and The Red Chimney in Clifton, where she was affectionately known as Ma "T", and was a parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul's Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic. Beloved wife of the late Louis G. Trella who passed away in 1970. Devoted mother of Ron of Clifton and his wife Christine. Loving grandmother of Lindsey and Samantha. Visiting Tuesday 6-9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, funeral service at 8 PM. Cremation will be private.
