Paul Peskosky, Sr., 61, of Clifton, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2020. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton. An active parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Paul was a member of the Parish Council and volunteered at the annual Parish Picnic where he held the title of "Grillmaster". Paul was a Lead Planning Engineer at Hoffmann-LaRoche, Nutley, for over 30 years. Currently, he was the Site Supervisor for On3, Nutley. He served as President of the Clifton Master Plumbers Association for many years.
Cherished husband of Nancy (Debiak). Devoted father of Laura and her husband Michael Tresca of Roxbury, Paul Peskosky, Jr., of Rockaway, and Christine Peskosky and partner Alex Murphy of Jackson. World's Best Pop-Pop of Emma and Lilyana. Beloved son of Lita Peskosky of Clifton, and the late Stanley J. Peskosky. Dear brother of Robert Peskosky and his wife Margo of Clifton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Paul was loved by all who knew or worked with him. He had a personality and presence that would light up any room - his wonderful stories will be missed by all. He had a discernible chuckle and mustache, and always stuck out with his colorful shirts. He was a modern day Renaissance man, a genius in his own right. Anything he put his mind to he could learn, fix, or build, but despite all of his talents and titles, his favorite role was being Pop Pop.
His love for travel and adventure was without bounds and he instilled that very love into each of his children as they traveled across the country together in an RV. He was most at home at his favorite place, Lake George, where the family would spend time every summer - boating, swimming, and snorkeling for treasures. His absence will be greatly felt by all.
