Paul Kutchmanich, 71, of Wallington, passed away on April 19, 2012. Born in Carbondale, PA, he lived in Passaic before moving to Wallington 17 years ago. A parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Passaic, Paul served as a Trustee for many years, was a member and Secretary of the FOCA, and had belonged to the Boy Scouts at St. John the Baptist RO Church, Passaic. An Army Veteran during Peacetime, Paul served with the Military Police and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Paul was a Detective for the Passaic Police Department for 26 years. Upon retirement from the Police Department, Paul worked for Selective Insurance and Pennsylvania National Insurance Companies as a Fraud Investigator for many years. Paul is a member of the NJ State PBA, the Honor Legion of NJ, the Honor Legion of the Police Dept. of NYC, and a retired member of Passaic PBA Local # 14. Beloved husband for 43 years of Helen (Burch). Devoted father of Andrea DeFrancesco and her husband Ronald of Wallington. Loving grandfather of Kimberly. Dear brother of Vera Keblish and her husband Paul of St. Johns, FL. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand-dog, Lacey. Funeral Monday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at Ss. Peter and Paul's RO Cathedral, Passaic. Interment, Ss. Peter and Paul's RO Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
