Patricia J. Machovsky, 83, of Franklin passed away on October 13, 2026. Born in Passaic, Patricia was raised in Clifton and she also lived in Forked River for many years where she spent a lot of her time with her husband boating, fishing and crabbing before moving to Franklin. She had a love for cooking and baking, and she had the gift of talking; she would have a room entranced by her stories and much laughter. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening and volunteering with the Clifton Stallions Soccer Club, where she made lifelong friendships and cherished memories.

Loving grandmother of Nicholas Machovsky and his girlfriend Kate Smith, Michael Machovsky. Sister of the late Kathrine Simpson and her husband Raymond, and Victor Mistove, Jr. Loved sister-in-law of James W. Machovsky and his wife Cynthia. Dear aunt of Susan Leitner and her husband Robert, Jr., Raymond Simpson, Jr. and his wife Linda, Thomas Simpson and his fiancée Kristine Haueter, Jennifer Bingaman and her husband Reed, James T. Machovsky, Jr., Wesley Machovsky, Breena Simpson and her boyfriend Drew Shaw, and Kiara Simpson. Great-great-aunt of Robert Leitner, IV. She will be missed by her dearest cousins, Lillian Hammersma, and Marilyn Farino and her husband Donnie.
