Wilson R. Basuri, age 73, of Clifton, New Jersey, passed away on January 22 ^nd , 2021.

Wilson Roberto Basuri was born in Ecuador on July 17, 1947. He was the first-born son of Roberto and Elsa Carlotta.

Wilson came to the United States in the 1970s where he met his beloved wife, Lena, and was immediately smitten. The two married and had two children, Keila and Remy.

Wilson committed his life to Jesus Christ and never faltered. Matthew 6:33 was his favorite verse and it was apparent in his life.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Wilson's passion was evangelism. He was filled with joy when someone committed to Christ. He was a missionary who traveled the world sharing the gospel and delighted in preaching on the radio, Radio Vision Cristiana Internacional (1330AM), every Saturday morning at 9:30am. In 2004, he founded Iglesia Cristiana De La Comunidad and remained the cherished pastor and leader until he parted to be with the Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Lena, and his children, Keila and Remy, his son-in-law, Diego, daughter-in-law, Laura, as well as his grandchildren Elise, Amelia, Noah and Liam.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider a donation to go to Iglesia Cristiana De La Comunidad (45 Hazel Street, Clifton, NJ) as the mission and advancing the gospel was Wilson's life devotion.

Service Information

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 30, 2021. Door Opens 8:30am and service will start promptly at 9am.

Wilson Roberto Basuri nacio en Ecuador el 17 de Julio de 1947. Fue el primer hijo varón de Roberto y Elsa Carlotta.

Wilson llegó a los Estados Unidos en la década de los 70s, donde conoció a su amada esposa, Lena, e inmediatamente se enamoró de ella. Se casaron y tuvieron dos hijos, Keila y Remy.

Wilson vino a los pies del Señor y nunca decayó su amor por El y siguió adelante, amando cada día mas a Dios. Mateo 6:33 fue su versículo favorito y se notaba en su vida.

"Mas buscad primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os serán añadidas."

La pasión de Wilson era la evangelización; se llenaba de gozo cuando alguien se comprometía con Cristo. Fue un misionero que viajó por el mundo compartiendo el evangelio, y disfrutaba predicar en Radio Vision Cristiana Internacional (1330AM) todos los sabádos a las 9:30am. En el año 2004, fundó la Iglesia Cristiana De La Comunidad y siguió siendo el pastor y lider amado hasta que partió a la presencia del Señor.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Lena, sus hijos, Keila y Remy, su yerno, Diego, su nuera, Laura, y sus nietos, Elise, Amelia, Noah y Liam.

Servicio Conmemorativo

El servicio conmemorativo será el  Sábado, 30 de Enero del 2021. Las puertas se abrirán a las 8:30 AM y el servicio comenzará puntualmente a las 9 AM
