Pascual D. Baez-Vargas, 51, of Clifton passed away on August 27, 2024. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he traveled to the US in 1989 settling in Passaic, New Jersey and eventually moving to Clifton. Pascual worked as a paralegal for the Law Office of Nicholas J. Palma in Clifton for many years. He also had an earlier career in management, holding a bachelor's degree from Montclair State University. Pascual was a selfless, modest, and humble man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone he met. He possessed steadfast values and devoted faith and demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience and dignity in his battle with cancer.

Pascual is the beloved son of Eduviges (Vargas) Del Rosario and the late Pascual Baez-Anziani and stepson of Andres Del Rosario. Loving brother of Humberto Baez, Cristina Baez, and Alexa Morales. Loving uncle of Cristal Sepulveda, Christian Sepulveda, Natanael Ramirez, Brandol Lopez, Jeremy Lopez and the late Esmeralda. Cherished by his former partner and forever friend, David M. Ferrante, for 24 treasured years.

Visiting Friday August 30, 2024, from 4 – 8 PM at Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service Saturday 10am at the funeral home. Interment, Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.
