Pamela (Sadowski) Mallon, 62, of Whiting, passed away on April 4, 2015. Born in Hackensack, she lived most of her life in Clifton before moving to Whiting 3 years ago. A parishioner of the Wallington Presbyterian Church, Pamela served for many years as an Elder and was very active with the "Angels in Aprons". Pamela was a Payroll Clerk for Prime Pay in Fairfield for 8 years, retiring to the Jersey Shore in 2012. Pamela enjoyed her many trips to the Resorts Casino and the sand and sun on the beach. A golden heart of a very giving person, her legacy will live on through the love of her life, her daughter Toni. Beloved wife of the late Richard, who passed away in February, 2014. Devoted mother of Toni Guzman and her husband Richard of Garfield. Loving grandmother of Madison Legas. Dear sister of Karen Kologie of Whiting and the late Rosemany Kempf and Joan Genneken. Cherished aunt of Andrew, Christian, Steven, Thomas, Peter and Cathy. Best friend since age 4 of Christina Sansone of Fredon Twsp. Also survived by "Furry" sons, Sammi, Thurman and Willie, and "Furry" granddaughters, Bella, Sophia and Mimi. Funeral Thursday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at the Wallington Presbyterian Church. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
