Pablo F. Narvaez of Newark passed away on October 14, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of family and friends. He was 72 years old at the time of his passing. Born on January 4, 1951, in Quito, Ecuador, he traveled to the US in 1974 and settled in Newark. Pablo worked as an
industrial machine operator and mechanic for 42 years.

Pablo, fondly known as Pablito, demonstrated a special talent for soccer from a young age. He showed unparalleled dedication and determination to excel in the sport he loved. Throughout the years, Pablo played for Deportivo National, Deportivo Patria, Deportivo Chunchi and
Deportivo Pichincha (his favorite). He made a lasting impact on the teams he played for, leaving a legacy of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Outside of the field, you could find Pablito listening to Mets Baseball games on the radio, watching TV and sleeping all at the same time.
He was excellent at multitasking!

great-grandfather of Lucas and Oliver Muscarella. Dear brother of Vicente, Rita, Patricio and Monica Narvaez.

He was a beloved family member and a cherished friend. Pablito was proud of his Ecuadorian heritage and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the soccer community. He will be remembered for his sportsmanship, passion for the game, and the indelible mark he left.

Memorial Gathering to honor and celebrate Pablo Narvaez's life will be held Saturday October 21 st from 2-4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, with a prayer service beginning at 3 PM. Cremation was private. Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects.

Patria, Deportivo Chunchi y Deportivo Pichincha (su favorito). Tuvo un impacto duradero en los equipos en los que jugó, dejando un legado de habilidad, trabajo en equipo y espíritu deportivo. Fuera del campo, podías encontrar a Pablito escuchando los partidos de béisbol de los Mets en
la radio, viendo televisión y durmiendo al mismo tiempo. ¡Era excelente en múltiples tareas!

Pablito estaba orgulloso de su herencia ecuatoriana y su memoria vivirá por siempre en los corazones de sus seres queridos y de la comunidad futbolística. Será recordado por su espíritu deportivo, su pasión por el juego y la huella imborrable que dejó.

La reunión conmemorativa para honrar y celebrar la vida de Pablo Narváez se llevará a cabo el sábado 21 de octubre de 2 a 4 PM en Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, con un servicio de oración que comenzará a las 3 PM La cremación era privada.
