Orietta (Tacchi) DiGennaro, 77, of Clifton passed away on November 17, 2021. Born in Gubbio, Italy, she came to the US in 1961 and lived in Passaic before settling in Clifton on 1963. Orietta was the owner and hairdresser of Orietta Coiffeurs, Clifton, for many years before retiring in 1985. Orietta was a proud member of the Italian Club of Lyndhurst.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony DiGennaro who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Mark DiGennaro and his wife Monia of Wyckoff, and the late Paul DiGennaro who passed away in 1985. Cherished grandmother of Alessia and Isabel. Loving sister of Aldo Tacchi and his wife Anna of Clifton and Donna Tacchi and her husband William Kenny of North Caldwell. Dear aunt of Elisa, Laura, Christina, Matthew and Daniel and great-aunt of Cristian, Luca and Gulia.

Visiting Sunday 2 – 6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Services Monday 9:30 AM at the Hawthorne Gospel Church, 2000 NJ-208, Hawthorne. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
