Olympia M. "Lyn" (Apito) DeMarco, 88, of Hackettstown, formerly of Passaic Park and Clifton, on April 23, 2010. Born in Garfield, Lyn lived in Passaic Park, Clifton, and Morristown, before moving to Hackettstown.

Lyn, a homemaker, was an active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, where she had served as President of the Rosary & Altar Society, President of the Leisure Club, as well as President of Club Evergreen in Clifton for many years.

Beloved wife for 54 years, of the late Joseph who died in 1994. Devoted mother of Sal and his wife Susan of Long Island, Rosann Cavallaro and her husband Frank of Hackettstown, and Patrick and his wife Patricia of Rockaway. Dear sister of Sue Cervasio and Margaret Campbell, both of Florida, and Lewis Apito of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Jeffrey, Joanna, Carly, and Corey. Cherished great grandmother of Marley, Miles, Victoria, Grace, Issaac, Mikayla Ann Elizabeth, and Olivia.

Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Entombment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
