Obituary

Olga (Peterson) Parks, 98, of Clifton entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Born in Utica, New York, her family moved to Clifton in 1943. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Roy E. Parks (WWII Veteran). Devoted and supportive mother of twin daughters, Laurie Stergiopoulos and her husband James and Yvonne McCort. Cherished grandmother of Nikolas Stergiopoulos. Loving sister of Pandora and her husband Paul. Dearest aunt to Craig and his wife Jacqueline and their children, Lena, Stephanie, Dean and Thomas, Mark and his wife Linda and Ross and his wife Pamela and their son Zachary. Olga lived her life in service to her family and to her church.

Olga was a parishioner of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Clifton and was a life-long member and officer of the Philoptochos Society and Daughters of Penelope. She was an officer of the AARP Chapter 1472 and the Clifton Women's Club evening Membership Department. She was employed as an Executive Secretary at Control Data Corporation before her retirement.

Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held for the family. A memorial service in celebration of her special life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton, in Olga's memory will be greatly appreciated.
