Olga Helen Kravetz, 92, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on January 7, 2021. Born and raised in Passaic, she lived most of her life in Clifton. A parishioner of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Passaic, Olga was a Sales Administrator for Western Publishing, NYC, where she worked for over 40 years.

Beloved aunt of Emil Petrasek and his late wife Patricia, of Hollis, NH, Richard Petrasek and his wife Barbara of Elmwood Park, NJ, Ronald Kravetz of Grand Terrace, CA, and Alan Kravetz of New Windsor, NY. Loving great aunt of 4 great nieces and nephews, 8 great-great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Michael Kravetz, and sister, Anna (Kravetz) Petrasek.

In her earlier years, she was very active in the choir at St. John's Church where she could spend time with many of her friends. Throughout her life, Olga was always adventurous and she had a passion for travel. She had traveled in all modes of transportation using not only cars, trains, planes and taxi's to get where she was going but also river boats, barges and hot air balloons in Europe, as well as helicopters and float planes in Alaska.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, whether it was playing cards, taking vacations, cooking huge family meals or just sitting around telling stories. Anybody who knew this remarkable and kind-hearted woman considered her a positive role model.

Funeral Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RO Church, Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Viewing hours on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, Parastas at 7 PM.
