Olga Harris' Obituary
Olga (Diaz) Harris, 89, of Wayne, passed away on May 22, 2017. Born in NYC, she lived in Paterson, South Paterson and Clifton for many years, before moving to Wayne in 2015.
A former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Olga was a member and past president of Club Evergreen. Olga was a Visiting Nurse for Visiting Health Services in Totowa for 13 years, retiring in 1989.
Beloved wife of the late Elmer Harris who passed away in 1990. Devoted mother of Dolores Gable and her husband Alexander of The Villages, FL, Wayne Halat and his wife Erna of Hawthorne, and Patricia DeHart and her husband John of The Villages, FL. Loving grandmother of Darren Gable and his wife Kyra, Marc Gable, and Stephen DeHart and his wife Irina. Cherished great grandmother of Destiny, Trinity, Gregory and Maya. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Arcadio "Archie" and Remadio (Alvarez) Diaz, her siblings Esther Kowalski and George Diaz, and her companion Bill Quinn.
Memorial gathering Sunday, June 4, 2017, 2-4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, prayer service at 3:30 PM. Cremation was private.
