Norberto Gonzalez, 74, of Clifton, passed away on January 1, 2026. Born in the Dominican Republic, he came to the US in 1967 and lived in Brooklyn, NY, and Paterson, before settling in Clifton.

Norberto was a parts manager for Zenith Auto Parts, Totowa, for over 30 years, retiring in 2013. An avid NY Yankees Fan, Norberto enjoyed swimming, he loved being with his family, and working on cars.

Beloved husband of Victoria (Novella) Gonzalez. Devoted father of Wanda Gonzalez, Norberto Gonzalez, Jr., Angie Gonzalez, and Wendy Gonzalez. Loving grandfather of Katelyn Liz, Nicholas, Caleb and Jaylin. Dear brother of Brador, Hector, Rosa and Mercedes Gonzalez, Alfredo, Magdalena and Augusto Sanchez.

Visiting Tuesday, January 6, 2026, 6-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service will begin at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
