Nina Borisewich, 90, of Clifton, passed away on February 8, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Garfield before moving to Clifton many years ago. A Lifelong member of the Russian Orthodox Church of Three Saints, Garfield, Nina was member and past officer of the Federated Russian Orthodox Club, Garfield Chapter # 16. Before retiring in 1989, Nina was an Advertising Manager for 'The New Yorker' Magazine in NYC, where she worked for 50 years. Beloved daughter of the late Peter and Sophie (Diatlovich) Borisewich. Loving Godmother of Godson Serge Metelow and his wife Dana and their children, Alexandra and James of Pennsylvania, and Goddaughter Valerie Metelow and her companion Raymond Losito of Rivervale. Lifelong friend of Yuri and Helen Metelow of Fair Lawn. Funeral Thursday 8:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at the Russian Orthodox Church of Three Saints, Garfield. Interment, St. Vladimir's Cemetery, Jackson.
