Nilda Collazo, 94, of Clifton, passed away on October 8, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, she lived in Paterson for over 45 years before moving to Clifton 8 years ago. A member of the Fountain Christian Church, Passaic, Nilda enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and homemaker. Nilda babysat all of the children in the neighborhood.

Beloved wife of the late Angel Confessor Rivera who passed away in 1961. Devoted mother of Haydee Vazquez, Cesar Rivera, Hernan Rivera, Lily Merced, Betsy Zayas, Miguel Rivera, and Angel C. Rivera. Loving grandmother of Chiqui, Papito, Josue, Abner, Jahnita, Gillian, Nilda "Nil", Hernan, Adrian, Lourdes, Monika and Frankie. Cherished great grandmother of Amanda, Alexiss, Isaac, Aaron, Alexander, Joel, Josue, Kayla, Kevin, Jaylee, Jacob, Nicholas, Branden, Kristen, Cameron, Karina, and Kaylee. Adoring great great grandmother of Luke and Logan. Dear sister of Dalva Irizarry.
