Nicholas Ligus, Jr., 84, of Clifton, passed away on March 22, 2014. Born in Simpson, PA, he came to Passaic in 1954 and lived most of his life in Clifton. A parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, Nick was a Supervisor of Textile for Originit Fabrics in Teterboro for many years, retiring in 1978 and was an Army Veteran. Beloved father of JoAnn VanLeuvan and her husband James of Clifton, and Robert Ligus of Newton. Loving grandfather of Melissa and Eric. Dear brother of Michael Ligus of W. Milford, Margaret Kitrys of Illinois, and the late Thomas Ligus and Helen Drum. Funeral Services are private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton.
