Please keep in your prayers the Soul of Nadiye Okur, who is now with the Lord.

Nadiye Okur, 89, of Clifton, passed away on August 17, 2026. Born in Turkey, she traveled to the U.S. in 2021 and settled in Clifton. A parishioner of St. Ann's Melkite Catholic Church, Woodland Park, Nadiye enjoyed taking walks, cooking for her family, and gardening.

Beloved mother of Vedi Okur and his wife Fulya, John Okur and his wife Rania, and Emel Kalousie and her husband George. Loving grandmother of Simon and his wife Monika, Natalie and Nicole Okur, and Christina, Aleen and Albert Kalousie. Cherished great-grandmother of Antonios and Rafael Okur.

Visitation, Thursday, August 20, 2026, 10AM to 12 PM at St. Ann's Melkite Catholic Church, 802 Rifle Camp Rd., Woodland Park. Funeral Service will begin at 12 PM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Arrangements under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
