Muriel H. (Stephens) Rodgers, 78, of Clifton on October 10, 2009. Born in Union City, she lived in Paterson before moving to Clifton 43 years ago. A parishioner of Zion Lutheran Church in Garfield, Muriel worked for Baskinger's in Clifton for 27 years, retiring in 2004. Beloved wife of the late Robert A., who died in 1996. Devoted mother of Stephen Ur of N. Chili, NY, Mary Kalthoff of E. Brunswick, Robin Sigler and her spouse Raysa of Elizabeth, Lori Buckalew and her husband James of Clifton, and Robert Jr. of Clifton. Dear sister of Joyce Rzucek of NC. Loving grandmother of Meredith, Tracey, Anthony, Melanie, Kevin, Tristen, Carrie, Courtney, Kaylin, Mariah, Kelli, and James. Cherished great grandmother of Jaida, Ziyon, and Jayden. Also survived by several children in her heart, Palma Ur, Racquel Rosa,and Kimberly Halupka. Funeral Wednesday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
