Muriel (Woodhouse) Carlin, 89, of Wallington, passed away on February 14, 2012. Born in Stamford, England, she came to the US in 1946 and lived in Clifton and Passaic before moving to Wallington 14 years ago. A parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church, Wallington, Muriel worked for Botany Weaving in Clifton and later for The Fair in Passaic for many years, retiring over 20 years ago. Beloved wife of the late Louis who passed away in 1964. Devoted mother of Kathleen Carlin of Wallington, Louis and his wife Gail of Clifton, and the late Patricia Anne Guarino who died in 2001 and her husband Joe of Virginia. Dear sister of Francis Woodhouse of Coventry, England. Loving grandmother of Cheryl and Jessica Carlin, Michael Guarino, Brian Guarino and his wife Hannah, Cherished great grandmother of Benjamin Guarino. Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church, Wallington. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
