Mirtha Pizarro Juraschka, of Garfield, passed away on July 9, 2022. Born in Lima, Peru, she came to the US in 1971 and lived in Paterson before moving to Garfield many years ago. Mirtha was a Social Worker for Concerned Parents for Head Start, Inc. in Paterson for 20 years.

Beloved wife of the late Gunter E. Juraschka, who passed away in 2012. Devoted mother of Milagros Chavarria and her husband Juan of Garfield, Gustavo Montero and his wife Megan of Garfield, and Enrique Montero and his wife Jacquelyn of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Luis and Jessica Chavarria, Gustavo Q., Enrigue, Jr., Shaylah, Skylah, Kruz, Cristiano and Amina Montero, and the late Justin Montero. Cherished great grandmother of Mason and Caeden Chavarria. Dear sister of Luis Coronado, Mercedes Pizarro, Dora Aguije and Miriam Esquerre.

Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.
