Mildred Gerrard, (nee Soehngen), age 96, passed on June 24, 2010 at home. Born in Jersey City, Mildred moved to Rutherford in 1943, then to Clifton in 2004. Mildred, a homemaker, was a member of The Catholic Womens Club. Beloved wife of the late John Gerrard who died in 2004. Mildred is survived by her loving children Jack Gerrard of Pennsylvania, Maureen Nightingale of Clifton, and Kathleen Benarick and Patricia O'Neill, both of Pine Hurst, N.C., and her brother George of Jersey City. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Service Monday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Visiting Monday Morning 9:30-10 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
