Michael S. Wacyra, 92, of Clifton passed away January 20, 2011. Born in Passaic, he lived there before moving to Clifton 46 years ago.

A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Michael was a Mechanic for Joseph Christy in Nutley for over 20 years, retiring in 1981.

An Army Veteran of WW II, Michael was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post and the American Legion Memorial Post # 347, both of Clifton, and Pavlick Koster VFW Post # 2640, Wallington.

Beloved brother of Theresa "Terry" Gabriel of Clifton, Lorraine Francica of Saddle Brook, and the late Sophie Salerno, Claire Young, and Stanley Wacyra who died in the South Pacific during WW II. Loved by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Funeral Monday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
