Obituary

Michael Tomcho, 82, of Clifton passed away on July 8, 2013. Born in Coal Castle, PA, he moved to Passaic in 1942 and has been a resident of Clifton for the past 32 years. A parishioner of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, Michael was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post #200, Passaic. Michael was a Lathe Operator for Passaic Rubber Co. in Clifton and Wayne for 32 years, retiring in 1995, and was a member of the United Rubber Workers of America, where he served as Vice President for many years. Beloved husband for 55 years of Gloria (Rizzo). Devoted father of Michael and his wife Teresa of Neshanic Station and Joseph of Clifton. Dear brother of Ann Cupta, John Tomcho, and Irene Luka, all of Garfield, and the late Mary Koscik and Laverne Radjewski. Funeral Saturday 8:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 9:30 AM at St. Michael's Cathedral, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home with Parastas at 2:30 PM.
