Michael E. Smolinski, 79, of Clifton passed away on July 15, 2026. Born in Passaic, he has been a resident of Clifton all of his life. A Proud US Navy Veteran Michael worked as a customer service engineer for IBM, Newark, for 30 years before retiring.

Beloved husband for 57 years of Donna Smolinski (Prichard). Devoted father of Michelle Geden and her husband Matthew. Cherished grandfather of Joshua Geden and his wife Emma, Caleb Geden and his partner Hanna Evans, Noah Geden and Amelia Geden. Loving brother of Rosemary Janiec.

Visiting Saturday 4 – 7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A Prayer Service will be held at 6 PM with Military Honors to follow. Cremation is private.
