Michael Rainer, 80, of Wantage, formerly of Passaic, passed away on July 22, 2026. Born and raised in Passaic, he lived there before moving to Wantage 24 years ago. A former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Michael was the owner of Michael's Towing in Passaic for 44 years, retiring in 2002. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Michael proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.

Beloved husband for 50 years of Karen (Paterson) Rainer. Devoted father of Michele Fitzgerald and her husband Brian, Michael Rainer and his wife Kristen, Melissa Cuello and her husband Eric, and Meredith Galasso and her husband Joseph. Loving grandfather of Evan, Mia, Malana, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Mara, Mikey, Jax and Lola. Dear brother of Antoinette Rainer, Rose Rainer, and the late Samuel and Robert Rainer, who both passed away in 2017.
