Michael Nyahay, 93, of Clifton, passed away on January 28, 2016. Born and raised in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Clifton.
A parishioner of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, Michael was a US Navy Veteran during WW II. Before retiring in 1987, Michael was a Payroll Administrator for Singer-Kearfott in Little Falls, where he worked for over 30 years.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Svitila), who passed away in 2006. Devoted father of Edward, George and Stephen, all of Clifton.
Funeral Tuesday 9:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Monday 5-7 PM at the funeral home, Parastas at 5:30 PM. www.ShookFH.com
