Michael A. Horuzy, 78, of Clifton, passed away on February 17, 2025. Born in Montclair to the late Sigmund and Loretta Horuzy (nee Dziedzic). He was preceded in death by one brother Paul Horuzy (Barbara).

Michael grew up in the Bloomfield area before settling in Clifton in 1968. A US Army Veteran, Michael served his country, stationed in Germany, during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post and a parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Michael worked for Pantasote and Deluxe Check Printers, and had many hobbies including woodworking and gardening. He was also an avid collector of coins and curiosities.

Michael is survived by his wife, Gisela (nee Rakoczy), stepdaughter Cornelia Czarnecki (Carl), and daughter Ellenore Murray (Bruce), one granddaughter, Mia, along with nieces and nephews Karen, Peter, Tom, and Susan Horuzy.

A memorial mass will be held in Michael's name on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at noon at St. John Kanty RC Church.
