Michael was a devoted husband to Elizabeth Marie (Smith) Aves, "Liz," and a loving father to Michael Jameson Aves and Chloe Rae Aves. His family was his greatest joy. He loved comic bookstore trips with Mikey—they shared a love for Marvel and food. He enjoyed playing salon with Chloe, who took all sorts of liberties with makeup and nail polish. His quiet resilience and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Michael was born in Passaic on November 6, 1980. He worked as a logistics manager for Foot Locker in New York.

His friends knew him as someone who always had a great time. He loved singing karaoke, dancing, traveling, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his son, Michael Jameson; his daughter, Chloe Rae; and his sister, Melissa Aves. He was a loving uncle to Alex Galvez, Cecillia Aquino, Daniel Aquino, and Tino Daroy, and leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and friends who will always cherish his memory.

Funeral – Saturday, May 17, 8:45 AM at the funeral home, and 10:00 AM at St. Clare R.C. Church, Clifton.
Cremation – East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.

Though his time with us was far too short, Michael's love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
