Matthew J. Wolchko 64, of Garfield, passed away on July 29, 2025. Born in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Garfield, and was a parishioner of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, Garfield. An Architect with Parette Somjen Architects, LLC, Rockaway for the past 11 years, Matthew was a member of the American Institute of Architects, the NJ Society of Architects, the Architects League of Northern Jersey, and the Bergen County Historical Preservation Society.

Beloved husband of the late Marie Elena (Malady) Wolchko who passed away in 2018. Devoted father of Katie Wolchko and her husband Julio Sabangan, Loretta Wolchko, and two cats, Prudence and Hobi. Brother of Mark Wolchko.

Visiting Sunday, August 3, 2025, 1-5 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service will begin at 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to TOYX, Inc., Operation Toy Train, 146 Hillside Dr., Dingmans Ferry, PA, 18328, in memory of Matthew, would be greatly appreciated.
