After a short, but arduous battle with cancer, Mary Martin (DiGilio) passed away on February 24th, 2022 in West Milford, NJ surrounded by family.

Mary is survived by her husband, John E. Martin, Jr., her three children, and her five adoring grandchildren, who made up the entirety of her world; Chloe, Sebastian, Theo, Lusyen and Rocco.  She is also survived by her sister Katherine DiGilio and her nieces, Cristin DiGilio & Desiree Yates.

Born December 6th, 1959, in Newark, NJ, Mary spent her entire life residing between New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Most recently, she spent her days as a preschool teacher in Easton, PA, where her students and coworkers will remember her warm smile and infectious laugh.  She truly cared about the students in her care and spoke of them often.

Mary would not let a single day pass by without thinking about or talking to her grandchildren.  They were the light of her life, and she let everyone know it!

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, from 5:30-7:30 PM. A prayer service will begin at 7 PM  It's open to all who would like to pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, Mary would have wanted donations to be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.StJude.org
