Mary (Diamond) Janis of Passaic on December 3, 2009. Born in Clifton she was a life long resident of Passaic. Mary was a secretary for the Passaic Board of Education before retiring several years ago. She was also a member of St. George GO Church, Clifton, the Chior, St. Taraskevi Philoptochos Society and a 50 year member of the Daughters of Penelope Kronos Chapter #188,. Beloved wife of the late John P. who died in 1996. Devoted mother of Peter J. and his wife Gloria of Staten Island, NY, George J. of Passaic and Patrice LaNeve and her husband Gary of Wayne. Loving grandmother of 3 grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers. Funeral Monday 9:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:30 AM at St. George GO Church, Clifton.
