Mary (Malusowych) Hussar, 92, of Clifton, passed away on June 18, 2015. Born in Simpson, PA, she has been a resident of Clifton since 1941. A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Mary was a member of the St. Andrew 39'ers, and the Felician College Older Is Better. Mary was a member of the St. Andrew's Rosary Society where she served as president for two years and was also the recording secretary. Before retiring in 1989, Mary worked for the Clifton Board of Education for 25 years as the Secretary to the Principal of the Clifton High School. Beloved wife of the late Alfred "Fred" Hussar, Sr., who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Alfred, Jr., and his wife Anne of Olathe Park, KS, Duanne Gartlan and her husband Jay of Glen Ridge, and John and his wife Janette of Port Crane, NY. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Cecala and her husband George, Danielle Raab and her husband Andrew, Jason Gartlan, Jessica and Jonathan Hussar. Dear sister of Joseph Malus and his wife Helen of Michigan, and the late Walter Mells and John Malusowych. Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
