Mary Elizabeth (Musgrave) Gallagher, 85, of Clifton passed away February 4, 2011. Born in Newark, she lived in Clifton for the past 57 years.

Mary worked for Allstate Insurance before becoming an Administrative Assistant for Deluxe Check Printers in Clifton, retiring in 1982. A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Mary was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society, the 39ers, and had been a Class Mother at St. Andrew's School as well as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for many years.

Beloved wife for 62 years of John B. Gallagher. Devoted mother of Catherine Mitchell and her husband Robert of VA, Karin Christiaens and her husband John of Clifton, and Mary Ellen Bradshaw and her husband Robert of TX. Dear sister of the late Charles Musgrave. Loving grandmother of Steven, Donna, Michael, Brian and Karin. Cherished great grandmother of Alyssa.

Funeral Wednesday 11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 12 noon at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
