Mary (Chizik) Franko, 98, of Clifton passed away January 23, 2011. Born in Slovakia, she came to the US as an infant and lived in Pennsylvania and Passaic before moving to Clifton many years ago.

A parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Passaic, she was a member of the St. Philip Prime Timers. Mary was a Dental Assistant for 62 years for Dr. Bloomberg and the late Dr. Wry on Market St. in Passaic, retiring in 1992 at the age of 80.

Beloved wife of the late Michael who passed away in March of 2000. Devoted mother of Michael W. and his wife Paula of Warren. Dear sister of Helen Holub of Elmwood Park and the late Michael Chizik. Loving grandmother of Jessica and Amanda.

Funeral Friday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Ss. Peter and Paul's RO Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Thursday 2-6 PM.
