Mary Joan (Macejka) Forster, of Clifton, passed away on August 14, 2016. Born in Clifton, she was a lifelong resident.

A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Mary Joan was a line supervisor for Horowitz Book Binding in Clifton for many years. She enjoyed bowling and gardening and was a member of the American Bowling Congress. Mary Joan was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kralik) Macejka.

Beloved wife of the late Harold who passed away in 1973. Devoted mother of Joan Freideman and her husband Grover of Wall Twsp. Loving grandmother of Grover Freideman and his wife Laura, David Freideman, Daniel Freideman and his wife Susana, Melissa Padgett and her husband Robert. Cherished great grandmother of Grover, Abigayle, Kaetlyn, Kaelley, Madison, Nicholas and Andrew Freideman, Natalie and Emily Padgett. Dear sister of the late John, Joseph, Paul and Vincent Macejka, Julia O'Keefe and Ethel Van Woerk.

Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment. Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
