Martin E. Horvath, 68, of Clifton, passed away on November 26, 2021. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of the Athenia Section of Clifton. Martin attended St. John Kanty School and was a lifelong parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton.

A graduate of Clifton High School, Martin was a longtime member of the YM-YHA of Clifton. A custodian for the Clifton Board of Education in the Clifton High School for 38 years, retiring in 2013, Martin had also worked for Edmar Creations, Clifton, for many years. Marty was an avid walker, he loved bicycling, road trips and New York City. He loved summer days spent either in a pool, a lake, or on the beach, especially Wildwood Crest.

Loving son of the late Stephen F. and Stella (Stolarz) Horvath. Beloved brother of Stephen M. Horvath and his wife Joan, and Linda Horvath and her companion Zachary Bubis, all of Clifton.

Memorial Gathering Monday 11AM to 1PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, with a Prayer Service at 12 Noon. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Peter's Haven, www.StPetersHaven.org , in memory of Martin, would be greatly appreciated. www.ShookFH.com
