Martha S. (Tylicki) Mayer, of Clifton passed away on October 31, 2011. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Lyndhurst where she attended Grammar School and High School, and has been a resident of Clifton for 58 years. A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Martha volunteered at the St. Andrew's School Library, was a member of the St. Andrew 39'ers, AARP and volunteered at St. Joseph's Family Medicine. Martha was the Secretary to the Assistant Buyer for McCory-McClellan in NYC for 15 years, retiring in 1983 and later worked for Ty Crowell Book Publishing in Clifton for several years. Beloved wife of the late Louis G. Mayer who passed away in 1995. Loving mother of Marcia Stamboulian and her husband Richard of Wayne. Dear sister of the late Phillip and Vincent Tylicki. Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
