Martha J. (Stewart) Kennedy, 75, of Clifton passed away on July 14, 2013. Born in Scotland, Martha came to the US in 1968 and first settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton several years ago. Martha worked as a waitress for Mario's Restaurant on Van Houten Ave. in Clifton for 30 years before retiring in 1994. Beloved wife of the late Marshall, who passed away in 2003. Devoted mother of Stewart and his wife Samantha of Wayne and Kenneth and Brian, both of Clifton. Cherished grandmother of six. Funeral services are private under the direction of Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
