Marilyn A. Capone, 79, a two-year resident of Wayne, NJ passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Born in Hackensack, NJ, she was raised in Lyndhurst where she resided until moving to Chadwick Beach in 2000. A woman of strong faith, Marilyn was a parishioner of Our Lady of
Perpetual Help in Seaside Heights. Active throughout her life, Marilyn was a member of the Women's Club of Brick, Ortley Beach Moose Lodge, Seaside Seniors and the St. Justin Seniors of Toms River. She also enjoyed crafting, playing cards and going to the gym.

Prior to retiring in 1990, Marilyn was an administrative assistant with AT&T in Bedminster, NJ for thirty years.

Beloved daughter of the late Anthony "Squire" and Ida (Nazare) Capone. Loving sister of the late Anthony J. Capone. She is survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, 9:30 am to 11 am at Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ (973) 471-9620. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at noon at St. Clare R.C. Church, 69 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.
