Marie (Edmonds) Sabol, 88, of Clifton passed away March 3, 2011. Born in New Castle, Delaware she lived in Carlstadt before moving to Clifton in 1963.

A parishioner of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton, Marie was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post Auxiliary, Clifton. Marie was a Decal Operator for Becton-Dickinson in E. Rutherford for 47 years, retiring in 1989 and was a member of the B-D Alumni.

Beloved wife of the late John who passed away in 2007. Dear sister of the late Elsie Staub and Ellen Barber. Loving aunt of 6 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Thursday 11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 11:30 AM at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Thursday Morning 10-11 AM. www.shookfh.com
