Marie (Favatella) Aitken, 83, of Paterson passed away on January 17, 2014. Born in Johnstown, PA, she lived most of her life in Paterson, where she attended East Side High School. Marie was Owner & Operator of Chez Marie in Paterson for 25 years, retiring in 1999. Beloved wife of the late Edward Occhipinti and the late Thomas Aitken. Devoted mother of Patricia Mangano of Bellmawr, Christopher Occhipinti of FL, and John Occhipinti of Eatontown. Dear sister of Terry Buhler of Woodland Park, Eugene Favatella of Clifton and the late Tony. Loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Marie is also predeceased by 1 grandson. Cremation was private under the direction of Shook Funeral Home, Clifton. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Burial of Ashes to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
