Marian H. (Kwasnik) Koterba, 91, of Clifton, passed away on March 27, 2014. Born in Passaic, she lived there before moving to Clifton in 1968. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Marian was a member of both the St. John Kanty Leisure Club and the Rosary Society of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Marian served as a Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader and had been active with the PTA. Before retiring several years ago, Marian worked for the Housekeeping Department of Montclair State College for many years. Beloved wife of the late Casimer J., who passed away in 1994. Devoted mother of Casimira Mack and her husband Richard of Wayne, Francis and his wife Sandra of Clifton, Mary Higgins and her husband John of Union, and Joseph and his wife Donna of Little Falls. Loving grandmother of Francis and Raina Koterba, Christopher and Stephanie Mack, Annie and Madeline Koterba. Cherished great grandmother of Amaya Goodrich. Dear sister of the late Genevieve Vuksta, Emil and Phyllis Kwasnik, and Josephine Bodnar. Funeral Monday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
