Maria A. (Galus) Szproch, 72 of Clifton on May 28, 2009. Born in Poland, Maria came to the US on February 11, 1968 and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton 37 years ago. A parishioner of Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Clifton, she was a member of the Catholic Sokol of Passaic and the Marian Rosary Society of Clifton. Maria was a Seamstress who made her own clothes and was employed by Hoffman-LaRoche in Nutley for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Beloved wife of the late Franciszek J. who died in 2008. Devoted mother of Andrew and his wife Iryna of Garfield, and Agatha Szproch of Clifton. Dear sister of Valent Galus of Slovakia, John Galus of Clifton, Krystyna Surma of Poland, and Louise Babicz of Wayne. Funeral Monday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
